UN to support designing 2 liberated villages in Azerbaijan

UN-Habitat (United Nations Settlement Program) will participate in the development of two villages in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, the Chairman of the State Urban Planning and Architecture Committee, Anar Guliyev, said, Report informs.
He said that one of the villages to be designed by UN-Habitat is located in a mountainous area and the other in a plain area.
Guliyev emphasized that the preparation of international guidelines on human-oriented smart cities has been started at the initiative of UN-Habitat, and a large group of experts has been formed for this purpose. This group also includes two Azerbaijani experts.
