Temporary special traffic lanes introduced for the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13) will be abolished after the event ends.
The Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency told Report that road signs 5.9, which indicate bus lanes, will be removed from these lanes starting May 23. After the signs are removed, the restrictions will no longer be in force, and regular drivers will be able to use these road sections without hindrance.
By decision of the Transport Coordination Council, the special traffic lane on Mehdi Abbasov Street will remain in force. This will ensure the unhindered and uninterrupted movement of public transport passing through this section.
