Saadat Yusifova: Action in line with SDGs among Azerbaijan's priorities

Implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals is among Azerbaijan's top priorities, Deputy Minister of Culture Saadat Yusifova said at the discussion "ONE UN - UNESCO Creative Cities and Sustainable Urban Development" at WUF13 in Baku, Report informs.
"Balanced regional development, sustainable settlement patterns, and implementation of the UN SDGs are Azerbaijan's top priorities. Hosting the World Urban Forum in Baku is an indicator of the country's growing international role in sustainable urban development," she noted.
Yusifova also emphasized Azerbaijan's rich urban planning and architectural traditions.
