Official: EBRD has invested over $9B in Ukraine to date

Since the beginning of the war to the present day, the volume of direct investments by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in Ukraine has reached 9.1 billion euros, stated Lin O'Grady, Deputy Director and Deputy Group Head of the EBRD's Sustainable Infrastructure Group (SIG), at an event titled "Reconstruction of Houses in Kharkiv and the City of the Future" held within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), Report informs.

According to her, an additional 3.4 billion euros in donor financing has also been mobilized: "Last year was a record year in terms of investments, with 2.9 billion euros allocated to Ukraine. Energy resilience and support for municipal services remain a priority for the EBRD."
