Most employees of the Karabakh Regional Water Department of the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency are former internally displaced persons, an official said.
Report's correspondent dispatched to Khankandi quoted Ilham Guliyev, deputy chairman of the Management Board of the agency's Regional Water Melioration Service, as telling journalists during a media tour organized by the agency in the city.
Guliyev said the vast majority of the department's employees are former internally displaced persons.
"There are many Khankandi residents among them. The first baby born here after Khankandi was liberated from occupation is also the child of an employee of the production department of ADSEA"s Karabakh Regional Water Department," he said.
