More than 170 vessels repaired at Baku Shipyard to date

More than 170 vessels have been repaired at the Baku Shipyard since the enterprise began operations, Ruslan Talibov, Chairman of Baku Shipyard LLC, said during a briefing with journalists.

According to Report, Talibov stated that the shipyard has successfully completed a total of 14 shipbuilding projects.

He also noted that the facility's annual production capacity allows it to manufacture 25,000 tons of ship steel structures.

"With its existing capabilities, the enterprise can build four tankers with a deadweight of 15,000 tons per year, or alternatively two Caspian Max-class tankers with a deadweight of 60,000–70,000 tons. In addition, it is possible to construct four vessels of different types simultaneously," Talibov said.

The figures highlight the growing role of the Baku Shipyard in supporting maritime transportation and logistics across the Caspian Sea, particularly as Azerbaijan continues to develop the Middle Corridor as a key trade route linking Asia and Europe.
