Minister: Large investments made in transport sector of Azerbaijan's liberated territories

In 2022, significant investments were made in the expansion and diversification of road and railway infrastructure in the Azerbaijani territories liberated from occupation, Digital Development and Transport Minister of Azerbaijan Rashad Nabiyev said in an interview with REAL TV, Report informs.
The minister noted that it had already been emphasized that the Zangazur corridor is essential for the development of Azerbaijan and the entire region.
“Here, I would like to specifically mention the Horadiz-Aghband railway. Most of the work regarding the railway was completed in 2022. We plan to fully complete this project, at least its Azerbaijani section, in 2023-2024,” he added.
