Kairat Sarybay: CICA ready to facilitate cooperation among member states in port sector

The Secretariat of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) is ready, within its mandate and available resources, to facilitate communication and information exchange among interested member states, as well as to support the implementation of recommendations adopted following today's conference, CICA Secretary General Kairat Sarybay stated at the international conference "The Role of Ports in Regional Connectivity and Strategic Cooperation" in Baku, Report informs.

"We hope that today's discussion will lead to the establishment of sustainable professional contacts, holding technical meetings, and launching future initiatives at the initiative of interested member states. I am confident that this conference is capable of yielding practical results and laying a stronger foundation for cooperation throughout the CICA region," the secretary general noted.
