Indonesian envoy: WUF13 boosts New Urban Agenda implementation

Indonesia expresses hope that WUF13 will give impetus to joint efforts to implement the New Urban Agenda, the Ambassador of Indonesia to Azerbaijan, Berlian Helmy, said at a ministerial roundtable within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, according to Report.

"Indonesia identifies priorities for joint action in ensuring broader access to decent and affordable housing, investing in sustainable and low-carbon infrastructure, strengthening multilevel governance and partnerships, as well as spreading innovative approaches and exchanging experiences between cities and states. We facilitate the organization of national urban forums and support South-South cooperation, as well as trilateral engagement, which provides stakeholders with the opportunity to learn from each other's experiences.

We look forward to a productive and substantive WUF13, which will advance our joint efforts to implement the New Urban Agenda," the diplomat emphasized.
