Hasan Al-Attas: People should not face problems with electricity supply

People should not face problems related to electricity supply, healthcare, and education, Hasan Al-Attas, representative of the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen, said a session held within the framework of World Urban Forum 13.

Report quotes him as saying that donors and international organizations must provide people with all possible essential services.

"In particular, services such as electricity supply, healthcare, education, road infrastructure, as well as access to airports and seaports, are of great importance. Job creation is also very important. People must feel that they are part of the reconstruction process. At the same time, we must pay attention to housing construction and urban development issues, because this is what creates a sense of stability and security for people and helps them look to the future with hope," he said.
