Gonzalez: WUF13 session in Baku was truly inclusive, open to participation

The 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku was truly inclusive and open to participation, Rocio Lombera González, General Coordinator for International Affairs of Mexico City, said at the closing ceremony, Report informs.

"The extensive communication and citizen engagement efforts have become an inspiration for future World Urban Forums, and, of course, for the forum that will be held in our beloved city. We were especially pleased to see the active participation of Azerbaijani residents in the forum's events, on the streets, and in the city's venues. Seeing families, youth, and children visiting and experiencing the WUF atmosphere, especially the Mexico City pavilion, reminded us why we do all this – to build cities for people, for all people," she noted.
