Expert: Yemen remains one of world's most challenging humanitarian zones

Yemen remains one of the most difficult regions in the world in terms of humanitarian security and the implementation of reconstruction programs, Hala Alsaleh, PhD, PMD Pro. Director of Developmental Programs department at The Saudi Development and Reconstruction for Yemen, said during an event held within the framework of World Urban Forum 13.

According to Report, she noted that five executive offices are currently operating in Yemen as part of the program.

Partnerships have also been established with more than 40 international, local, and United Nations system entities.

"Our projects cover 16 provinces of Yemen. One of the key distinctions of our model is that we do not work in isolation. We are part of an integrated network bringing together the government of Yemen, international organizations, the United States, and civil society institutions," she emphasized.
