Envoy Husyev: Azerbaijan is Ukraine's key economic partner in South Caucasus

Azerbaijan remains Ukraine's main economic partner in the South Caucasus region, said Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yuriy Husyev at the "Black Sea-Caspian Logistics Forum 2025: Corridors, Cargo, Infrastructure" held in Baku, Report informs.
The ambassador emphasized Azerbaijan's growing importance amid current energy needs in Europe, as well as the development of the Middle Corridor and broader East-West connectivity.
"That is why cooperation in the transport sector is a priority, along with enhancing regional ties between the Black and Caspian Seas, including within the GUAM framework," Ambassador Husyev stated.
