China is ready to share its sustainable urban development experience with international partners, a representative of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), said in a video address at an event during WUF13, Report informs.

He stated that people should be able to live in cities, see mountains and water, experience the atmosphere of their homeland, and feel safe.

He noted that since the beginning of the 21st century, China's urbanization has accelerated significantly, and the quality of the urban environment has improved significantly, allowing the country to accumulate significant experience in sustainable urban development.

"In recent years, China's construction industry has achieved significant results in digital and intelligent transformation, the development of smart cities, urban renewal, and the promotion of green and low-carbon development," he said.

He also expressed his willingness to work with international partners to address global issues of urbanization and sustainable urban development.
