Cargo transportation from Azerbaijani part of North-South corridor triples

About 317,000 tons of cargo were transported via the part of the International North-South Transport Corridor passing through the territory of Azerbaijan in January-May, head of the Press Secretariat of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, Sanubar Nazarova, said during the media tour organized to Sumgayit-Yalama station, Report informs.
According to her, this is 3 times more than the corresponding period of 2022.
Nazarova said that more customers will be attracted after the road construction at Sumgayit-Yalama station is renewed and the speed limit is increased, and goods will be transported faster in this direction.
