Border and customs procedures for freight and passenger trains traveling between Azerbaijan and Georgia will be expedited, Report informs referring to the State Border Service.
It was noted that the heads of the State Border Service, the State Customs Committee, and Azerbaijan Railways were briefed on the organization of border and customs control on freight and passenger trains traveling between Azerbaijan and Georgia.
Inspections to improve security were conducted at Yevlakh, Ganja, Agstafa, and Boyuk-Kasik stations. During the inspections, instructions were given to streamline border procedures, expedite clearance, improve service quality, and ensure transport security.
