Baku Shipyard, Czech firms discuss technology cooperation

Baku Shipyard LLC has discussed the potential use of Czech technologies and equipment at its facilities.

According to Report, citing the company, a business meeting was held in Baku between the shipyard's management and representatives of Czech companies.

The meeting was attended by leading Czech industrial companies, including TOS VARNSDORF, Wikov Group, ŽĎAS, LANEX, ACO Marine and ANAJ Czech.

Representatives of Czech businesses delivered presentations introducing their Azerbaijani partners to their companies' core competencies, innovative solutions and production capabilities.

"The sides reviewed in detail the prospects for cooperation in strategic sectors such as shipbuilding, ship repair and the development of modern maritime infrastructure. Particular emphasis was placed on the potential integration of Czech equipment into the technological processes of the Baku shipyard," the company said.

Following the meeting, the participants confirmed their mutual interest in expanding contacts and developing long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation.
