Baku Metro transports nearly 14.3 million passengers

In August of this year, 14,292,400 passengers used the Baku metro, Report informs, citing Baku Metropolitan JSC.
Last month, an average of 461,045 passengers were served during the day. The highest number of passengers were transported on August 31 (535,233), and the lowest number was recorded on August 13 (297,668).
It is 10.4% less compared to August 2019 (before the announcement of the coronavirus) and 1.3% more compared to the same month last year.
During the 8 months of 2023, the metro carried 138,447,320 passengers, down 7.9% from the same period of 2019 and up 7.85% from the same period of 2022.
