Baku-Astrakhan flights to resume on September 30

Regular flights on the Baku-Astrakhan-Baku route will resume on September 30, Report informs, citing Astrakhan International Airport.
Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) will operate the direct scheduled flights.
Flights from Astrakhan International Airport are scheduled three times a week, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The flight is expected to take 1 hour and 25 minutes.
AZAL will operate Embraer E-190 aircraft on the route.
AZAL suspended all flights on the Baku-Astrakhan-Baku route indefinitely on February 3, 2025, due to the repeated closure of airspace over the Russian city of Astrakhan.
