Azerbaijan's transport sector carries 162.7 million tons of cargo

In January-August 2026, economic entities operating in Azerbaijan's transport sector carried 162.74 million tons of cargo, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

The figure increased by 4.74 million tons, or 3%, compared with the same period last year.

During the reporting period, the transport and warehousing sector generated 10.9 million manats ($6.4 million) in revenue, representing an 8.7% increase in real terms compared with January-August 2025.
