Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) discussed current cooperation, the development of transport infrastructure, ongoing projects in the railway sector, and prospects for future cooperation.
According to ADY, cited by Report, the discussions took place as part of a visit by members of the ADB Board of Directors to Azerbaijan.
Representatives of ADY briefed the guests on the development of Azerbaijan's railway system, modern solutions used in passenger transportation, and ongoing efforts to improve service quality.
ADY is consistently working to strengthen the country's transport links, introduce sustainable and digital transport solutions, and provide passengers with comfortable and safe services.
The ADB Board members then traveled by train to the city of Ganja, using ADY's passenger services.
"The visit was particularly important in terms of presenting Azerbaijan's railway infrastructure and modern approaches used in passenger transportation to international partners," the statement said.
