Azerbaijan plans to search for precious metals in liberated areas

Exploration of deposits and estimation of reserves of ferrous, non-ferrous and precious metals is planned in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the Geological Intelligence Agency under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.

According to the information, geological exploration work will be carried out in Zangilan, Gubadli, Khojavand, Aghdam and Aghdara districts. In addition, gypsum, anhydrite, and quartzites for sand-gravel mixtures will be searched for in Goranboy and Goygol districts.
