Aysiman Guliyeva: Azerbaijani youth active in volunteering

Volunteering is one of the strongest tools that can unite the whole world under one roof, Aysiman Guliyeva, Chairperson of the ASAN Volunteers Organization, told journalists within the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Report informs.

She spoke about the side event ASAN Model in Urbanization: The Role of Public Services and Volunteering, organized within WUF13.

"The event was held to highlight the role of volunteering activities and ASAN volunteers in the urbanization process. The role of ASAN volunteers and volunteering in Azerbaijan's urbanization was discussed," Guliyeva said.

The official added that Azerbaijani youth attach great importance to self-development and actively participate in public life and various events: "Volunteering is one of the most effective tools that can unite the world under one roof. At WUF13, the interest of young people in volunteering is evident and commendable."
