Astana and Baku to sign memorandum on urban development cooperation

Astana and Baku intend to sign a memorandum of cooperation in the field of urban development and facade renovation, with a special focus on creating a comfortable urban environment, Deputy Director of the Astana Urban Planning Center Daniyar Chindaliyev told Report.

He said that Astana Mayor Zhenis Kassymbek arrived in Baku today to participate in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).

"The delegation is scheduled to hold meetings, including, as far as I know, with the Baku City Executive Authority. The signing of a memorandum on urban development and facade renovation is planned. We are very interested in this," he said.
