ASCO hosts meeting with Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank delegation

A delegation from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) visited the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company CJSC (ASCO) for a meeting, Report informs, citing the company.

Chairman of the Management Board of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO), Afgan Jalilov, briefed the delegation on the Company's operations, fleet renewal initiatives, projects being implemented in the areas of digitalization and the adoption of innovative solutions, as well as ASCO's future priorities.

The meeting included an extensive exchange of views on Azerbaijan's transport and logistics potential, particularly the prospects for the development of maritime transport, as well as the challenges facing the shipping sector.

The discussions focused on such issues as business process optimization, improving operational efficiency, and digital transformation. The participants also emphasized the importance of exploring opportunities for future cooperation in these areas.
