Anglo Asian Mining's gold output in Azerbaijan up 1.8% in 1H2026

The UK-based mining company Anglo Asian Mining (AAM), specializing in the development of gold deposits in Azerbaijan, produced 12,329 ounces of gold in the first half of 2026.
According to Report, citing the company, this figure is 1.8% higher than in the same period in 2025.
During the reporting period, silver production rose by 48.9%, reaching 92,855 ounces, while copper production increased 7.4 times, amounting to 8,840 tonnes.
From January to June, AAM sold 7,126 ounces of gold bullion on global markets, which is 27.1% less than in the first half of 2025. However, the average sales price per ounce increased to $4,664 (compared to $3,077 a year earlier).
Sales of copper concentrate totaled 58,577 dry metric tonnes (dmt), which is 6.4 times higher than in the first half of 2025. Revenue from sales grew 11.3 times, reaching $125.9 million. Of this, 26,882 dmt worth $54.5 million were produced at the Gedabek deposit, while 31,695 dmt worth $71.4 million came from the Demirli deposit.
As of June 30, the market value of the company's precious metal reserves stood at $69.8 million.
AAM's debt was estimated at $12.2 million, while net cash amounted to $57.6 million.
