Ana Falu grateful to Azerbaijan for hosting WUF13

Ana Falu, co-founder of the Women and Habitat Network of Latin America, has expressed deep gratitude to Azerbaijan for hosting the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Report informs.

She made the statement at the closing ceremony of WUF13.

"This is a space filled with friends. We have worked together for many, many years to be here. And let me say something: I am very grateful to Baku and Azerbaijan," she said.

Falu also emphasized the importance of international solidarity and collaboration in sustainable urban development.

She noted that WUF13 brought together representatives from different countries and communities to discuss a more equitable and inclusive urban future.

"The Women's Assembly, thematic roundtables, and numerous specialized events became a space for multi-vocal participation. Through the lens of experience, analysis, and open reflection, we were able to highlight the complex challenges women face daily around the world," Ana Falu added.
