It is important to train people on rules of conduct during natural disasters and emergencies.
Report informs that Hassan Al-Attas, head of the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen, said this at an event held as part of WUF13 in Baku.
According to him, it is necessary to strengthen the government's capacity both at the local level and in cooperation with international organizations.
"At the same time, support for early warning systems is of great importance. For example, Yemen is a large country with diverse terrain, where heavy rains and various natural disasters occur every year. Creating early warning systems there with the support of UN organizations is of primary importance," he said.
