AirBaltic to resume Riga-Baku-Riga flights

Latvia's AirBaltic national carrier plans to start flights between Riga and Baku twice a week as of June 2 this year, Transport Minister Talis Linkaits said at a meeting with Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Latvia Javanshir Akhundov.
"Air passenger transport between Latvia and Azerbaijan, which was successfully developing before the Covid-19 pandemic, is in both countries' interests. Latvia also sees great potential in cargo transportation both with Azerbaijan and across Eurasia," the minister noted.
