ADY official: Passenger traffic by train to Aghdam - indicator of new life in this city

The launch of the Aghdam Railway and Bus Terminal Complex, and passenger transportation through the Baku-Aghdam railway line today, is an indicator of new life in this city, according to Nijat Guliyev, Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY), Report informs.

"This route has been implemented within the framework of the Barda-Aghdam project. The first-time use of a closed platform at the Aghdam Railway and Bus Terminal Complex is of significant importance. The length of this platform is 350 meters.

As a continuation of this route in the liberated territories, the Aghdam-Khankandi project is also underway. The construction of the Khankandi Railway and Bus Terminal Complex is planned to be completed by the end of 2026," Guliyev noted at an event dedicated to the launch of the Baku-Aghdam train.
