Over $4.7M in exemptions applied to residents of industrial parks in Karabakh

Until May 1, 2025, 142 confirmation documents have been issued to residents of industrial parks in Azerbaijan's liberated territories for imported equipment, technological machinery, and raw materials, resulting in exemptions from taxes and duties amounting to nearly 8 million manats (just over $4.7 million), Report informs, referring to the Economic Zones Development Agency (EZDA) under the Ministry of Economy

In total, 45 business entities with an investment capital of nearly 400 million manats (approximately $235.3 million) have been granted resident status in the Aghdam and Araz Valley Economic Zone industrial parks, while 8 entrepreneurs have received non-resident status. They plan to create more than 4,000 permanent jobs. Already, more than 136 million manats (almost $80 million) have been invested in these industrial parks, and over 700 permanent jobs have been created.
