Over 11,000 vehicles produced at Azerbaijan's Hajigabul Industrial Park

More than 11,000 vehicles have been manufactured at Azerbaijan's Hajigabul Industrial Park through cooperation with Uzbek companies, according to the Economic Zones Development Agency under the Ministry of Economy.

The agency said the park's resident company, Azermash CP LLC, has produced more than 10,700 Chevrolet vehicles in partnership with Uzbekistan's UzAutoSanoat JSC. The production lineup includes the Labo, Damas, Malibu, Lacetti, Tracker, Cobalt, Nexia, Spark, Traverse, Tahoe, Equinox, Onix and Captiva models.

In addition, more than 300 ISUZU vehicles, including pickup trucks, cargo trucks and buses, have been manufactured in cooperation with Uzbekistan's SamAuto.

According to the agency, the joint projects are contributing to the development of Azerbaijan's automotive industry by expanding domestic manufacturing, increasing employment and strengthening the country's export potential.
