Azerbaijan's bus production grows by 44.5% in January-August 2026

Azerbaijan produced 224 buses in January-August 2026, which is 44.5% more than in the same period of 2025, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.

As of September 1, the stock of finished products amounted to 26 buses.

Passenger car production in January-August 2026 decreased by 16.5% to 1,992 units. As of September 1, the stock of finished products stood at 130 cars.

During this period, 597 trucks were produced (a 2.7-fold increase). As of September 1, the stock of finished products was 51 units.

Tractor production in the country during the reporting period amounted to 337 units (a 4.5% decrease). The stock of finished products as of September 1 was 6 units.

The production of machinery and equipment, automobiles, trailers, and semi-trailers during the reporting period amounted to 268.3 million manats. At the same time, the production of machinery and equipment decreased by 73.6%, while that of automobiles, trailers, and semi-trailers grew by 89.3%.
