World record holder: My dreams came true in Baku

China's Li Yuehong, who won the gold medal at men's 25m rapid fire pistol at the 2023 ISSF World Championship, said his dreams came true in Baku, Report informs.

The athlete, who broke the world record by accurately completing 39 out of 40 shots, said that he dreamed of this success in advance: "This is my first world championship. We have achieved this success as a team, but it is the first for me as an individual."

The 33-year-old athlete emphasized that his next goal is the Olympic championship.
