World Chess Olympiad: Azerbaijan's teams to play against Sweden, Switzerland

Azerbaijan's national chess teams will play their next matches at the 46th World Chess Olympiad in Samarkand, Uzbekistan today, Report informs.

In round III, the men's team will face Switzerland, while the women's team will play against Sweden.

Earlier, the Azerbaijani men's team defeated Morocco (4:0) and the Philippines (3:1), while the women's team defeated Guatemala and Denmark (both matches with a score of 4:0).

The World Chess Olympiad consists of 11 rounds under the Swiss system and will conclude on September 27.
