U-15 Azerbaijan Cup in boxing to start on September 1

The Azerbaijan Cup among cadet (U-15) boxers will be held in the country, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijan Boxing Federation.

Athletes who excelled in the final stage of the zonal championships will test their strength in the competition, which will start on September 1.

A total of 97 boxers from 39 teams will participate in the U-15 Azerbaijan Cup. The winners of the competition, which will last for four days across 17 weight categories, will represent the country at the European Championship.

The U-15 European Championship will be organized in Trabzon this October.
