UFC punishes Armenian athlete over separatist regime’s flag

A 20-year-old UFC employee was fired for allowing Armenian fighter Edmen Shahbazyan to enter the octagon with the “flag” of the separatist regime created in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. Report informs, Edmond Tarverdyan, Shahbazyan’s trainer, told NEWS. Am Sport. He said that they were fined because of this incident.
Edmond Tarverdyan admitted that they made a mistake.
Reebok immediately broke off cooperation with the Armenian provocateur.
Notably, Azerbaijan sent a letter of protest to the UFC president in connection with the provocation.
