Minister: Hosting SportAccord 2026 is a new achievement for Azerbaijan

Hosting the SportAccord World Sport and Business Summit in Azerbaijan is another major achievement for the country, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov stated, Report informs.

The minister noted that several major competitions will be held in 2026:

"We have made our mark in the international sports arena. Every year, we have new achievements. International organizations trust us and continue to award major events to Azerbaijan. In 2026, Baku will become the sports capital of the world. To uphold this title, we will organize a number of tournaments," the minister said.
