Japanese residents want cancellation of Tokyo 2020

More than two-thirds of Japanese people support the cancellation or postponement of the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics.
According to Report, this became known as a result of a survey conducted by the Kyodo News Agency.
In the poll, 39.2% of respondents for the cancellation of the Games, 32.8% said there should be another postponement. Only 24.5% of respondents wanted the Games to be held at the scheduled time.
The Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics have been postponed from July 24-August 9, 2020, to July 23-August 8 this year due to a coronavirus pandemic. The Summer Paralympic Games will be held from August 24 to September 5.
