Islamic Games: Two Azerbaijani karate fighters reach final

Two more Azerbaijani karatekas reached the finals of the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, Turkiye.
Panah Abdullayev in 84 kg and Asiman Gurbanli in a weight class above 84 kg qualified for the decisive match and secured at least a silver medal.
The kata team consisting of Ismayil Guliyev, Tural Baljanli, and Rovshan Aliyev will fight for the bronze medal.

Azerbaijani female karate fighter Iryna Zaretska reached the finals of the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, Turkiye.
Report informs that the athlete who performed in 68 kg qualified for the decisive match and secured at least a silver medal.
Zaretska won the IV Islamic Solidarity Games organized in Baku in 2017.
