Five Azerbaijani judokas to compete at Lausanne Grand Slam

Five Azerbaijani judokas will begin their campaigns at the Grand Slam tournament in Lausanne, Switzerland, today.
According to Report, Gultac Mammadaliyeva and Leyla Aliyeva will compete in the women's 52 kg category, while Ahmad Yusifov will take part in the men's 60 kg division. Turan Bayramov and Ruslan Pashayev will compete in the men's 66 kg category.
The tournament awards qualification points for the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Olympic Games. Azerbaijan is represented at the event by 14 judokas - 10 men and four women - across nine weight categories.
The Grand Slam tournament will run through August 30.
