CIS Games: Two Azerbaijani boxers qualify for semifinals

Two Azerbaijani boxers have reached the semifinals of the first CIS Games in Kazan, Russia.
In the 48-kilogram event, Tagi Nasibov defeated Vadim Vechersky of Belarus in the quarterfinals. Ibrahim Zeynalov (50 kg) beat Muinkhon Mavlonov (Tajikistan) in the same round.
Ramal Yolchuyev (46 kg) lost in the quarterfinals to Temirhan Daniarov (Kyrgyzstan), Mahammadali Gasimzade (54 kg) lost to Farrukh Tulaganov (Uzbekistan), and Ziya Hasanov (66 kg) to Vladislav Kuznetsov (Belarus).
Tagi Nasibov will face Javohir Kuysinov from Uzbekistan in the semifinals, and Ibrahim Zeynalov will compete with Artem Nazarov from Russia.
