Baku–Khankandi cycling race to conclude today

The Baku–Khankandi Azerbaijan cycling race will conclude today.

According to Report's correspondent assigned to the tournament, the fifth stage, which will start in Tartar, will finish in Khankandi.

Cyclists will cover a distance of 181.3 kilometers, passing through Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Shusha.

In the first stage, Belarusian rider Aleksei Shnirko of China's Li-Ning Star team crossed the finish line first. The following day, Kazakhstan's Yevgeniy Fyodorov of Astana claimed victory. In the third stage, Astana's Russian rider Gleb Syritsa finished ahead of all rivals, while in the fourth stage Marco Manenti of Italy's Bardiani CSF Faizanè team secured first place.

Twenty-four teams representing 20 countries are competing in the UCI 2.1-category race organized under the auspices of the International Cycling Union (UCI). The tournament's prize fund exceeds 50,000 euros.
