Azerbaijani wrestler wins bronze at U17 European Championships

Member of the Azerbaijani national team Fatima Bayramova has won a bronze medal in women's wrestling at the U17 European Championships.

According to Report, on the fifth day of competition, three Azerbaijani wrestlers stepped onto the mat.

In the 53 kg category, Bayramova secured a dominant 10–0 victory over Poland's Zuzanna Sokołowska, earning the bronze medal.

In the 46 kg category, Nuray Jafarli lost her bronze medal match to Croatia's Lara Blažeković with a score of 1–4.

In the 69 kg category, Simura Abdullayeva was defeated in a repechage bout by Russia"s Polina Efimova, 2–8.
