Azerbaijani wrestler crowned European champion

Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Aykhan Javadov achieved a remarkable feat by winning the gold medal at the U20 European Championships held in Caorle, Italy, Report informs.

He secured the gold after defeating Swedish wrestler Adam Silverin in the men’s 60kg final.

Additionally, Faraim Mustafayev won the silver medal in the men’s 67kg category, while Elmin Aliyev earned bronze in the men’s 82kg weight class.
