Azerbaijani taekwondo fighters win three medals in Kazakhstan

Azerbaijani taekwondo fighters have won three medals at the Altay Championship in Kazakhstan.
Report informs that Javad Aghayev claimed silver in the 80 kg weight category, while Eljan Aliyev, also in the 80 kg category, and Minaya Akbarova in the 46 kg category won bronze medals.
Azerbaijan's junior and senior national taekwondo teams are taking part in the Altay Championship, held in Astana on June 22-23. They will also compete in the Kazakhstan Open international tournament on June 25-27.
The teams traveled to the competitions under the leadership of Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation Vice-President Niyamaddin Pashayev, senior national team head coach Mammad Abdullayev, and coaches Elnur Amanov and Aykhan Taghizada.
