Azerbaijani judokas secure three medals at European Youth Championship

On the opening day of the European Youth Judo Championship held in Bratislava, Slovakia, three Azerbaijani athletes secured podium finishes, marking a strong start for the national team, Azerbaijan Judo Federation told Report.
Nihad Mamishov (–60 kg) and Mahammad Musayev (–66 kg) delivered outstanding performances, defeating all their opponents to claim gold and earn the title of European champions.
Meanwhile, Nizami Imranov (–66 kg) added to the team"s success by capturing the bronze medal in his weight category.
With two golds and one bronze, Azerbaijan ranked second in the overall team standings and took the top spot among male competitors.
