Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler crowned Olympic champion

Baku. 15 October. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijan's freestyle wrestler Turan Bayramov grabbed gold in the Third Junior Olympic Games in Argentine capital, Buenos Aires.
Report informs that in the 65 kg divisions Bayramov started the fight in A Group. In his first bout the world and European champion easily defeated his rival from New Zealand in the first round. After beating his Pakistani opponent in the next bout he became the leader in A group.
Thus, Bayramov secured his place in the Olympic final where he encountered the winner of B group from Iran. By beating the opponent who won his semifinal bout 8:2, Bayramov was crowned the Olympic Champion.
