Azerbaijani female wrestler wins gold at Islamic Solidarity Games

Azerbaijani female wrestler Zhala Aliyeva secured the gold medal in the 57kg category medal at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games, Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, after defeating Türkiye's Elvira Suleyman 6:2 in the final, Report informs via AZERTAC.

Meanwhile, Elnura Mammadova (50kg) grabbed the bronze medal in the tournament.

Earlier, Greco-Roman wrestlers Hasrat Jafarov (67kg) and Murad Ahmadiyev (97kg) both won silver medals.
