Azerbaijan weightlifting championship postponed

Azerbaijan weightlifting championship among young people aged 20-23 years has been postponed, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan Weightlifting Federation.
This was caused by the martyrdom of 50 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan while preventing the large-scale provocation committed by the Armenian armed forces on the Azerbaijan-Armenia state border.
It is not yet clear when and where the competition will be held.
The Azerbaijan championship was scheduled for September 15-16.
